Kakuro XXL is the latest addition to my series of Kakuro puzzle books. It differs from the other books in the size of the puzzles—and thus the book itself. The Kakuro puzzles here are larger than the standard 10×10 format (10 rows, 10 columns), which is something of a standard size.

You can get Kakuro XXL at Amazon*.
Details of the Kakuro XXL book
The book Kakuro XXL contains a total of 100 Kakuro puzzles. These are presented in a 24×16 format (24 rows, 16 columns). The reason for this size is simply that a grid of this type fits well on a standard A4 sheet of paper. This ensures that the individual cells are not too small.
All solutions are included in the second half of the book. When creating the book, I assumed that you are already familiar with Kakuro and the Kakuro rules, which is why they are not explained again in this book.
To get an idea of what to expect, you can download and print the first puzzle of the book here. This will allow you to see for yourself whether the difficulty level is appropriate for you and whether the format and size work for you. Of course, the difficulty level varies throughout the puzzle book, and not every puzzle is equally difficult. However, this example should give you a good sense of what to expect.
Larger Kakuro puzzles and other books
Many Kakuro puzzles found in magazines or puzzle books are in the 10×10 format. This makes sense because in Kakuro, there can be a maximum of nine consecutive white cells. The highest possible sum in Kakuro is 45 and includes all digits from 1 to 9.
However, larger grids are also possible, and the number of rows and columns does not have to be the same. Both of these features are present in Kakuro XXL. The creator simply needs to ensure that a black cell appears to break the sequence after no more than nine consecutive white cells.
If you have no prior experience with Kakuro, the books Kakuro for Beginners and Kakuro Strategies are more suitable for you to start with. You can purchase this book here once you have familiarized yourself with this popular number puzzle.
